With :Apogee Suite, Agfa Graphics provides an answer to these needs and helps customers transition smoothly.

Pre-Press departments need to work hand-in-hand with the CSRs. Customers are becoming ever more demanding about their involvement in the production cycle: they too want fast and easy-to-access information. Agfa Graphics is really connecting the islands, not only through exchanging information with a JDF-tag on it, but by developing integrated solutions that support from bottom up a different, integrated way of working at customer base.

It is a set of new solutions that offers to the customers the possibility to tailor-make their optimal workflow by using specific modules of the :Apogee Suite.

The :Apogee Suite exists of 4 main solutions:

:Apogee Prepress – provides automation and improves pre-press processes to ensure consistent and errorless production from file input to imaging plates.

:Apogee Color – provides color management tools and enables consistent color communication throughout the entire production flow, from design to print.

:Apogee Portal – provides a flexible collaborative platform between printers and their customers by offering among other functions flexible file-upload and approval.

:Apogee Publish – complete new product solution that includes: :Apogee Media, which focuses on all tasks from content management and editorial workflow, till page creation for print and web publishing.
