IPM Workflow Server

• Image processing server that uses hot folders andspecification files (binuscan Open Architecture),created by client applications
• Client/server architecture, cross platform networkable
(Mac OS/Windows), can also be used on a single workstation (foreground or background processing).
• Performs color mode conversions using ICC profiles.
• Applies ICC profiles with profile mismatch managment.
• Performs file format conversions: TIFF, EPS, JPEG.
• Performs geometric operations: crop, resizing, rotation, skew (via JobManager), flip,resampling,interpolation.
Performs image correction o perations: saturation, gamma, unsharp masking, LUTs... offers combined process using RECO process modules, and integrated, user-definable quality control.
• Input sources: scanned transparency, reflective and negative originals; digital camera files; Photo CD images; wire service images.
• 2 product levels to fit production requirements:
IPM Workflow F5 :
up to 5 workflows (5 sets of input & output folders + TMP folder for JobManager); supports (level 1) additional librairies.
IPM Workflow F40 :
up to 40 workflows (40 sets of input & output folders + TMP folder for JobManager);
supports (level 1-2) additional libraries.
Includes binuscan JobManager :
• Client extension to send processing orders for each
individual image, right from the page layout software:
crop and other geometric transformations, job profiles,
correction operations...
Once processed the images are automatically updated
in the layout.
Includes IPM Administrator :
• Client application to create and configure the IPM?s
workflows, and set processing parameters.
• IPM Administrator runs on Mac OS X aswell, and
can control Windows IPM Workflow server
applications.
